N: An intriguing masterpiece brought to by the directer Andres Muschietti, known for another favorite of mine-Pans Labyrinth. half way into the movie once the children had been left abandoned in a remote cabin deep in a the forest; some searchers eventually come upon these two girls and discover an offal horrifying scene. I was literally scared out of of wits, as the girls had transformed into wild unkempt-creature like characteristics. When you see a little girl in the darkness peering into the light, but appears to be some dog like animal scurrying about makes you want to leap off you seat and run away.
The portrayal of Mama and her protected gaze over the girls is brought to a turning point after the uncle and wife takes in the girls. Tough it takes awhile for them to re adapt to normal social conditions, still mama projects the girls...but becomes ever so jealous of the new parents and an epic primordial battle begins to wage against everyone surrounding the family. check it out while in theaters....and I swear I shall not ruin the beautiful gruesome ending.
D: We're baaaaacckk. And we brought a friend with us. Finally a horror movie worth seeing! Once again the director who brought you Pans Labyrinth brings you a creepy masterpiece.
As my loverly partner had mention its about two girls who are left alone in a abandon cabin only to be cared for by a mysterious ghost. And the end result...freaky deeky children who move like creepy little critters. They are reintroduced to society, and its soon discovered, something followed them back, and it wasn't Bigfoot.
What was so awesome about this film? Everything!! The story was wonderful, the acting was excellent, the whole thing was just too cool for the prep squad baby! There were weird scenes in the movie that made it just jump out as if Mama was sitting right next to you saying, 'check this out'. And the ending....just ducky. Recommend, recommend, recommend! See it and be amazed. There is just one thing I want to know though...whats with the moths Hollywood? Seriously, many a people are already scared of spiders, now we have to be freaked out about moths?
