D: Wolf Town, an independent film that is about four friends going to a ghost town that's been claimed by, you guessed it wolves. Hungry wolves who want nothing but to kill every last one of the characters.
And what a beginning. You first get swept away into the past to see the origins of the town and then when it gets interesting, out of nowhere you are back in the present wondering 'who is this loser'? Once you get to know any of the characters you discover that you really don't care about any of them. Especially the main character who you just want to slap. I tell you I have never seen anyone so whinny. Where did they get these guys? Plus the music. I tell you, I was expecting Willy Wonka to pop out. And that was just the beginning.
As the movie dribbles on you get more excited about the wolves coming out because all you want is for them to just kill each of the collage students (big surprise) so they can stop asking the dumbest questions and saying the most ridiculous lines ever! The only interesting part is when you start to learn about why the wolves are on a killing spree only to be disappointed in the end. Especially when they take their time in explaining the whole story. Thanks for the let down.
Aside from the cheap lines, bad acting, and lack of love for the characters, the only cool thing was that they used real wolves. My final rant; original idea guys, but not good enough. People, save your money, watch it on YouTube.
N: I do agree with D. This is the worse movie that I've seen by far. First I know that they used real wolves, but it seems like some of the footage of the wolves had been cut from old documentaries. Why on earth would someone be allowed to use old footage like that? I think the entire time I was paying more attention to the scenery than the characters, who by the way need to go back to acting class or find another career path. I had better things to do and will condemn this movie forever.
